Best Buy
Best Buy was in need of an updated product listing and comparison pages on bestbuy.com to better display their products. I worked on-site most days at the Best Buy HQ in Minneapollis, MN from June 2008 until launch in October 2008.
Working at Best Buy I worked as the tech lead to help bridge the gap between the Best Buy Design and Development team with their offshore developers provided by Accenture. I ensured the end code provided by Accenture was to a high quality and matched the templates we provided them.
During this project I also consulted on the first draft of the hproduct microformat and added it into all Best Buy listing pages.
To this day I still get a kick knowing that everyone who browses a product on bestbuy.com, one of the largest e commerce sites in the world, is using my work.
